Short Update

Hey guys,
Thought I would post a short message just letting ya'all know what is going on. My first round of Chemo Therapy was not successful, so yesterday I started a more intense round for the next 6 days. This is going to keep me out here in Denver until at least December. After I leave here, when ever that is, I am going to have to have a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible. A bone marrow is the only way to really cure leukemia. I dont know how much time I will have before the marrow transplant, or if the doctors will even let me do out in public. If I am in town around new years I will try my best to make a guest appearance to a party.
Overall I have been feeling well. I havent had too many bad side effects which normally happen. Oh and listen to this, the floor I am living on at the hospital is 3B. It is the third floor on Building B. I saw a wet floor sign with 3B on it. It just may end up becoming a souvenir from this place.
Anyway for those that want to know that didnt my hospital phone line is (303)839-6220 and my mailing address is:
Presbyterian/St. Lukes Medical Center
ATTN: Andrew Minshall Room 3220
1719 East 19th Avenue
Denver, CO 80218

I also have my cell phone, although reception sucks in here. So if you are ever board you can go ahead and give me a call.

Thoughts, prayers, hopes, wishes, etc. for Andy

Hey everyone, I just received a call from Andy about a half hour ago and in his voicemail he told me that he has been diagnosed with Leukemia. He said he's been in the hospital the past couple days and has some big tests taking place today. I thought I'd get a post on here in an effort to get support for him. I haven't been able to call him back yet because I'm at work, but I was thinking it'd probably be nice if we could all give him a call and wish him our best. Just in case anyone doesn't have it, his cell phone # is 517-862-1707. I'm sure he could use the support, the poor guy is all by himself out in Colorado too.

Cold war or rock throwing contest?

Three of Jason's favorite things... (in no particular order)

* Getting my ass handed to me week in and week out in fantasy football. Who is 0-5 bitches? This guy right here. I shall begin trading my best players at $5 a piece. Checks payable to Jason James.

* Getting my ass handed to me in IM hockey week in and week out. Eh, this really isn't new news, just a reminder we still play against people in a lot better shape than us every week. Tis the Ninja Monk way.

* Ok so I really enjoy this... North Korea tests nuclear weapon. World goes nuts over the implications, new cold war? world war three? And what does CNN put on their front page... The picture up top of a North Korean soilder throwing rocks at a reporter. So clutch.
